Let’s end #PeriodPoverty and call for the regulation and legislation of menstrual health in South Africa. #TeamFreeSanitaryPads #MenstrualRightsareHumanRights #WeGotUGirl

This Women’s Month we teamed up with Team Free Sanitary Pads NPC and other organisations to urge the South African Government together with Members of Parliament to pass the Menstrual Health and Hygiene Bill by making it a reality. Join us on 26 August 2022 as we state our case for the changing of policy towards ending period poverty! Statistics reveal that up to seven million schoolgirls in South Africa cannot afford sanitary pads and as a result experience period poverty each month; this is simply unacceptable. Let our voices be heard together!
